Terms & Conditions – Meridian
Welcome to Meridian. The following terms outline the rules and regulations for using our platform and booking our properties.
1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Meridian’s services, including bookings made via website, WhatsApp, third-party platforms, or offline channels (“Booking Channels”).
By making a booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with any booking.
2. Definitions
- “Meridian” / “Company” / “We” / “Us” – The service provider facilitating villa stays and experiences
- “Guest” / “You” – Individual(s) making or included in a booking
- “Property” – Villas, estates, apartments, or accommodations listed or managed by Meridian
- “Booking” – Reservation made through any Booking Channel
- “Booking Amount” – Total amount payable for confirmation (excluding security deposit unless stated)
- “Security Deposit” – Refundable amount held against damages or violations
3. Eligibility
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law
- Persons deemed incompetent under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 are not eligible
- Meridian reserves the right to refuse service without assigning reasons
4. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is valid only upon receipt of payment (partial or full as communicated)
- Meridian reserves the right to cancel or reject any booking at its discretion
- Booking details (number of guests, dates, purpose) must be accurate
- Any misrepresentation may lead to cancellation without refund
- Bookings made via third parties are:
- Subject to Meridian’s Terms
- Not considered confirmed unless payment is received by Meridian
5. Pricing & Payments
- Prices are dynamic and subject to change without prior notice
- Applicable GST and taxes will be charged additionally unless specified
- Payments must be made only to official Meridian accounts
- Meridian is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized individuals
- Failure to complete payment within the specified timeline:
- May result in automatic cancellation
- Any advance paid may be forfeited
6. Security Deposit
A refundable Security Deposit may be required depending on the Property:
- The deposit covers damages, breakage, violations, or extra charges.
- Meridian reserves the right to deduct repair/replacement costs or charge full replacement cost.
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days post check-out.
7. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in and check-out timings will be strictly as per booking confirmation
- Early check-in / late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges
- A valid government-issued ID is mandatory for all guests at check-in
- Meridian reserves the right to deny check-in for non-compliance
8. Use of Property & Conduct
- Bookings are strictly for short-stay / leisure purposes only
- Events, parties, shoots, or gatherings require prior written approval
- Illegal activities, over-occupancy, and commercial use are strictly prohibited
- Guests are responsible for their conduct. Misconduct or disturbance to neighbors will result in immediate eviction without refund.
9. Liability & Force Majeure
- Meridian is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
- Meridian shall not be liable for failure or delay due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or utility failures.
- Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
By proceeding with a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms in their entirety.
